Short description of the educational programme:
“Texts carry messages, while objects are the messages.” The educational programme “Our grandparents refugees, our parents migrants, and we racists?” invites pupils to set their imagination free and unravel the messages of the objects. Through interactive games, they will explore, with all their senses, the history and culture of the Greeks of Asia Minor. Refugees’ narratives and experiences will take them on a journey into the past… and, surrounded by the concepts of “refugee”, “migrant” and “racist”, they will reflect and suddenly find themselves in the present…
